Project Description:

Our Client a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America are looking for Consultants to be part of the project

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches.

The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia. The selected resource will be working in a newly setup technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.

Responsibilities:

Manage infrastructure and environment setups including connectivity, installation, updates, and patching activities.

Maintain and support middleware and communication protocols (SFTP, Connect:Direct, IBM MQ, etc.).

Handle environment-level configurations across Unix/Linux/Windows OS and Virtual Machines.

Develop and maintain scripts and tools for automation using Unix Shell, Bash, PowerShell.

Collaborate with application teams to support deployments and troubleshoot issues.

Work with scheduling tools like Control-M to support batch job executions.

Use version control tools (Bitbucket, Git, Aldon) for code and configuration management.

Perform development and enhancement using Java, PL/SQL, Python (Good to have).

Maintain and query databases (Oracle, MySQL) for environment support and development purposes.

Mandatory Skills Description:

Must Have:

1) 3-5yrs of experience in infra/environment management (setup, connectivity, updates, installation, patches)

2) Unix shell scripting (powershell, bash also OK), PL/SQL, Java

3) Proficiency in WebLogic, Windows/OS, Linux, VMs

4) Familiar with middleware/communication protocol and scheduling tool (SFTP, Connect Direct, Control-M, IBM MQ, etc)

5) Familiar with version control tools (Aldon, BitBucket, Git, etc)

6) Technical skills:

- Scripting (Unix shell scripting, Bash, Powershell).

- Development (Java, Phyton).

- Database knowledge (Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, MYSQL).

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

1) Compliance Technology Product knowledge (NetReveal, Actimize, Ficrosoft Continuity, TookiTaki) or equivalent

2) AML-KYC, TM, FMF, MLS domain knowledge

3) Banking experience preferably in Group Compliance

4) Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, etc)
