The Opportunity
The Innovation and Enterprise Manager is responsible for driving the successful transition of intellectual property (IP) from research to market. This involves a multifaceted approach, including assessing market potential, identifying and engaging with industry partners, and securing IP licensing agreements. The role also involves fostering the creation of spin-off companies, attracting investors for IP commercialisation, and assisting R&D groups in securing pre-commercialisation funding to enhance commercialisation opportunities.
Reporting line: The position reports to Grants and Commercialisation Lead under broad direction
