Job Description
- Identify and track emerging technologies and materials, innovation trends and potential partners across global and regional markets
- Translate operational and strategic business challenges into focused technology‑scouting and innovation priorities.
- Build and manage relationships with startups, technology vendors, universities, research institutes, and innovation networks.
- Lead open‑innovation initiatives including proof‑of‑concepts, pilots, and co‑development partnerships.
- Assess technologies for feasibility, scalability, commercial value, and risk.
- Develop clear business cases, insights, and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Lead cross‑functional innovation projects from concept through implementation, managing scope, budget, and partners.
- Contribute to mid‑ to long‑term technology roadmaps and strategic investment planning.
- Support change management, knowledge transfer, and innovation awareness across the organisation.
The Successful Applicant
- Master's degree of PhD in Material Science/Engineering or Polymer
- Experience in technology scouting and open innovation
- Strong knowledge of intellectual property management and innovation strategies.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with external partners.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
