As the Inside Sales Account Executive (ISAE), you will activate and grow a portfolio of Authorized Partners across Malaysia and Singapore. You will own the day-to-day execution and outcomes of inside sales outbound activities, including sales campaigns and first-level partner training.
You will use Salesforce (SF) to register and maintain data, follow up on key events, manage the lead queue, and qualify partners. You may also act as a Salesforce superuser, coaching internal stakeholders on CRM best practices.
This role is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with up to 20% travel for regional and international visits, including to Singapore.
What you will do:
- Identify, qualify, and follow up with new prospects across the territory, partnering closely with the Malaysia and Singapore sales team.
- Assess customer needs to evaluate available options and customized solutions, recommend camera solutions and adequate product comparisons.
- Proactively manage and qualify the CRM lead queue, ensuring timely partner contact and accurate follow-up for every lead.
- Enable partners through Axis tools and resources, including Partner Web, Product Portfolio Introduction and more.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to support onboarding and early enablement for selected Authorized Partner accounts.
- Own recruitment, onboarding, and reactivate inactive Authorized Partners through means of in-house events to grow and strengthen the channel portfolio.
- Prospect for new partners through proactive outbound outreach, including cold calling, follow-ups from outbound events, and targeted outreach to assigned lead lists.
- Maintain an accurate partner database in Salesforce, ensuring strong data hygiene and reporting accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with the Distribution Team on lead follow-up and tracking.
- Support marketing initiatives, including partner events and hosting Axis Experience Centre (AEC) visits.
- Support in-country sales activities on an ad-hoc basis, including local initiatives, events, and time-sensitive follow-ups.
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Sales, Marketing, Distribution and regional teams to support and facilitate core responsibilities mentioned where cross functional collaboration is required.
- Apply the Axis Sales Methodology in all business meetings to drive measurable ROI.
- Champion Axis culture and values, acting as a positive role model internally and externally.
What we are looking for:
- Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in outbound sales and cold calling, ideally in the technology sector.
- Demonstrated track record of identifying, pursuing, and closing sales opportunities.
- Strong capability in lead qualification, pipeline management, and partner engagement.
- Experience within an indirect sales / channel partnermodel.
- Experience with CRM software, with Salesforce proficiency as a strong advantage.
- Good technical understanding, including basic networking infrastructure concepts, and able to provide first-level technical guidance will be an advantage.
- Exposure to the Singapore market will be an advantage.
