JOB PURPOSE:
To promote the company's products via tele-sales, meeting customer needs, and contributing to the achievement of sales and revenue targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly, accurately, and professionally.
- Promote and upsell the company's products to customers.
- Retain customers through inbound and outbound calls.
- Maximize sales opportunities during each interaction to meet sales targets.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Negotiate and close business deals with customers.
- Collaborate with Marketing and customers to finalize deals.
- Manage order entries and acknowledgments.
- Prepare semi-annual account review reports.
- Conduct business reviews with customers twice a year.
- Proactively seek guidance from the Group Manager/Director to enhance skills and business knowledge.
- Report business challenges to the Group Manager/Director and work on resolving obstacles.
- Effectively manage customer backorders.
- Collect payments from customers and manage accounts receivable (AR).
- Reduce stranded and excess inventory (S&E).
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Education: A Diploma or Degree qualification or equivalent is required for this position.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in sales, ideally in fast-moving goods or services. Prior experience working in a call center or tele-sales experience is an advantage.
COMPETENCIES:
- Strong telephone etiquette and experience in customer handling.
- Results-driven, with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Fluency in a second language is a plus.
