Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

To promote the company's products via tele-sales, meeting customer needs, and contributing to the achievement of sales and revenue targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly, accurately, and professionally.
  • Promote and upsell the company's products to customers.
  • Retain customers through inbound and outbound calls.
  • Maximize sales opportunities during each interaction to meet sales targets.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Negotiate and close business deals with customers.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and customers to finalize deals.
  • Manage order entries and acknowledgments.
  • Prepare semi-annual account review reports.
  • Conduct business reviews with customers twice a year.
  • Proactively seek guidance from the Group Manager/Director to enhance skills and business knowledge.
  • Report business challenges to the Group Manager/Director and work on resolving obstacles.
  • Effectively manage customer backorders.
  • Collect payments from customers and manage accounts receivable (AR).
  • Reduce stranded and excess inventory (S&E).

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education: A Diploma or Degree qualification or equivalent is required for this position.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in sales, ideally in fast-moving goods or services. Prior experience working in a call center or tele-sales experience is an advantage.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong telephone etiquette and experience in customer handling.
  • Results-driven, with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly motivated with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Fluency in a second language is a plus.

This position is based in our office located in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.
