Job Description

Motul Malaysia is seeking an Inside Sales Executive who will play a key role in supporting the company's sales operations by managing customer orders, maintaining relationships with distributors and workshops, and driving sales through proactive customer engagement.

Based in the office, this role focuses on managing inbound and outbound customer communications, supporting repeat sales, and identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Executive will work closely with the field sales and operations teams to ensure smooth order processing and high customer satisfaction across Motul Malaysia's distribution network.

This role is based at the Motul Malaysia Office in Puchong, Selangor.

The appointment level (Executive or Senior Executive) will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities

80% - Inside Sales

  • Manage incoming customer enquiries and sales orders from distributors, workshops and retail partners
  • Process sales orders and coordinate closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular communication and follow-up
  • Conduct tele-sales activities to promote products, campaigns and promotions
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell Motul products to existing customers
  • Support field sales teams by coordinating customer requests and account updates
  • Monitor customer purchasing patterns and follow up on potential repeat orders
  • Prepare sales reports and maintain accurate customer records in the system

20% Technical Support

  • Resolve customer issues and ensure high service standards
  • Provide product information and basic technical guidance when required

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Technical or related discipline
  • Prior experience in sales coordination, inside sales, telesales or customer service roles is an advantage
  • Experience in the automotive, lubricants or distributor business will be an advantage
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to identify opportunities with existing customers
  • Organised and able to manage multiple orders and customer requests
