Role Summary
We are seeking an Inside Sales & Qualification Lead to manage inbound enquiries, qualify prospects, and prepare serious, decision-ready leads for founder engagement. This is not a closing role your task is to filter, qualify, document, and help protect senior decision time by ensuring only relevant, serious prospects proceed to engagement.
What You Will Do (Day-to-Day Responsibilities)
1. Inbound Lead Qualification (Primary Responsibility)
- Respond to and engage inbound enquiries from:
- Website forms and landing pages
- WhatsApp and email
- Marketing campaigns and referrals
- Conduct structured qualification conversations to assess:
- Decision-maker ownership
- Project seriousness and feasibility
- Budget comfort and constraints
- Fit with FUBIZO's standards
- Summarise prospect context and prepare qualified leads for founder review
- Professionally close the loop on low-fit or non-relevant enquiries
2. CRM Documentation & Follow-Up Discipline
- Maintain strict CRM hygiene using tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce
- Log all interactions, qualification notes, and next steps accurately
- Track and schedule follow-ups for serious prospects
- Document objections, constraints, timelines, and key client signals
- Ensure no inbound enquiry remains ambiguous or undocumented
3. Targeted Warm Outreach & Reactivation
- Conduct controlled, low-volume outreach to:
- Expo contacts and name cards
- Prior enquiries
- Referrals
- Dormant leads
- Send professional outreach emails and follow-ups to re-engage warm prospects
- Purpose of outreach:
- Re-connect
- Clarify intent
- Assess current decision readiness
This is not mass cold mailing or aggressive selling.
4. Professional Representation
- Communicate with prospects in ways that reflect FUBIZO's professional, strategic positioning
- Balance firmness in qualification with respect
- Avoid overselling or misleading prospects
- Emphasise FUBIZO's role as a partner in clarity, feasibility, and commercial judgment
What This Role Is NOT
- This is not a closing or sales closing role
- Not cold calling at scale
- Not aggressive telesales or quota-driven persuasion
- Not Google Ads management or marketing strategy
Language & Skill Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
English Proficiency Required
You must be able to:
- Hold professional English conversations
- Understand technical and commercial nuance
- Qualify international leads (US / AU / ANZ over time)
- Communicate clearly and credibly with founders, operators, and client representatives
Minimum Requirements (Must-Haves)
- 2+ years experience in:
- Inside sales
- Lead qualification
- Customer success
- Inbound enquiry handling
- Comfortable making professional calls and writing polished, client-appropriate emails
- Familiar with CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce:
- Logging leads
- Updating statuses
- Recording next actions
- Organised, process-driven, and disciplined
- Reliable follow-through with documentation and timeline management
- Professional maturity and integrity
- Able to work on-site in Penang (this is not a hybrid role)
Nice to Have
- Experience with B2B inbound qualification or customer intake roles
- Experience handling trade show contacts or expo follow-ups
- Exposure to service-based environments and structured sales operations
Working Arrangement
- On-site role in Simpang Ampat, Penang
- Occasional work-from-home flexibility may be granted for pre-scheduled international calls, but the position is not hybrid

Compensation
- Base salary: RM2,800 RM3,600 (commensurate with experience and execution ability)
- Performance review after 3 months
- 2-month notice period acceptable
