About The Role
Shell Mobility is looking for a
Customer Insights & Market Research Intern to support strategic projects that influence real commercial decisions across Malaysia. In this role, you will work closely with external research agencies and crossfunctional teamsincluding Commercial, Marketing, Customer Operations, and Analyticsto deliver insights that shape customer segmentation, propositions, and gotomarket strategies.
This internship is an opportunity to gain handson experience with a global brand while contributing to highimpact projects in the fastevolving mobility and energy space.
What's the role
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support endtoend market research projects, including survey design, data analysis, and insight development.
- Work with external research partners to manage timelines, deliverables, and quality.
- Analyze customer data to uncover behaviors, motivations, and trends.
- Translate research findings into clear recommendations for commercial and marketing teams.
- Assist in developing customer segmentation and value propositions.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with diverse internal teams to support customercentric strategies.
What we need from you
- Students currently pursuing a degree in:
- Business, Marketing, Economics
- Data/Business Analytics
- Psychology, Social Sciences
- Or any related discipline
- Minimum CGPA 3.0 and above
- Students available to start in April with a sixmonth internship commitment are highly preferred.

Skills & Tools You'll Use
- Basic knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint/Google Slides
- Familiarity with data visualization tools e.g., Power BI is a plus
- Interest in market research methodologies and tools
