Global Remote Partners is looking for an Insolvency & Restructuring Specialist to join our growing team!

Job Summary

Global Remote Partners is seeking an Insolvency & Restructuring Specialist to support Australian clients on insolvency, restructuring, and corporate recovery engagements. You will work closely with Australian professionals on financial analysis, reporting, case administration, and restructuring activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Australian insolvency and restructuring engagements.
  • Assist with liquidation, voluntary administration, restructuring, and recovery assignments.
  • Prepare financial reports, statements of affairs, creditor reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Perform financial analysis, cash flow reviews, reconciliations, and review of financial records.
  • Assist with investigations and assessment of company financial positions.
  • Maintain accurate case documentation and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Liaise with clients, creditors, and stakeholders throughout the engagement process.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Australian insolvency requirements and professional standards.
  • Provide support on ad hoc restructuring and insolvency projects.
  • Requirements
  • Malaysian citizen.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, ICAEW, or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in insolvency, restructuring, corporate recovery, or related accounting roles.
  • Experience in liquidation, voluntary administration, turnaround, or restructuring engagements is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
