ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To check and ensure that the contractor carry out their works in accordance to the consultant drawings, specifications, approved materials and method statements.
  • To conduct regular site inspection of all architectural works and verify works done for Interim claims for main Contractor's/NSC's/PC-rated items and relevant stage building certifications (HDA).
  • To check and verify on all architectural work materials, deliver to the project site.
  • To ensure that the architectural works quality / workmanship is within acceptable tolerance.
  • To monitor and ensure construction work schedule are maintained as per approved work programme.
  • To ensure proper job-site filing, documents, reports, site photos and daily site activities.
  • To check and sign-off the progress report from the main contractor is accurate.
  • To check and report on the Contractor's enforcement of health and safety practices.
  • To attend all site meetings and highlight area of concern including inspection, progress, housekeeping, safety.
  • To check all defect rectification works in accordance with approved method statement.
  • To perform all related duty as directed by Senior Inspector of Work or the Architect.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Extensive work experience for mixed use high rise residential projects will be an added advantage. Candidates with extensive work experience but without stated qualification are also encouraged to apply.
  • Required language: Bahasa Malaysia & English
  • Highly dedicated, proactive, good interpersonal/communication skill, responsibility and team-focused.
  • Knowledge in Autocad, Microsoft Word, Excel & Power point.
  • Applicants must be willing to work at project site located off Jalan Kuching, Kuala Lumpur

QUALIFICATION & EDUCATION

  • Diploma in Architecture, building science / technology or related fields.
  • Certificate of Registration of Inspector of Works with Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (if any).

WORING EXPERIENCES

  • Minimum 5-8 years working experience in architectural works supervision.
