HR Supervisor - Learning and Development Instructional Designer/Development

Key Responsibilities:

Instructional Design & Development

  • Design, develop, and implement learning solutions using instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
  • Create engaging eLearning modules, instructor-led training materials, job aids, and other learning assets.
  • Utilize authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia) and LMS platforms to deliver content.
  • Apply data-driven insights to continuously improve training effectiveness.

HR Training & Development

  • Partner with HR and business units to identify training needs and skill gaps.
  • Develop onboarding programs, compliance training, leadership development, and soft skills workshops.
  • Ensure training content aligns with company policies, values, and strategic objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate training outcomes and provide recommendations for improvement.

Project Management

  • Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors as needed.
  • Maintain documentation and version control for all training materials.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops as needed.
  • Collaborate with SMEs, HR Business Partners, and department heads to gather content and feedback.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse audiences across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Instructional Design, Education, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in instructional design and development, HR training, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of learning theories, adult learning principles, and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
  • Proven experience in instructional design and eLearning development.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools such as HeyGen, Synthesia, Pictory, Canva AI, Articulate Rise with AI features, etc.
  • Proficiency in authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate), LMS platforms, and multimedia editing software.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with adaptive learning systems or AI-driven personalization engines.
  • Familiarity with data analytics in learning (e.g., xAPI, learning record stores).
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
  • Experience in corporate training, higher education, or professional development environments.
