Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid, Onsite #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytic Business, based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. You will be mainly accountable for: . Selling ABB instrumentations product range (Level measurement, pressure transmitter, temperature transmitter, flow meters, etc) to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for the assigned divisions. . Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand their needs, promoting their understanding of ABB's complete product/systems/ services offering, and aligns with them to provide a solution. . Performing regular status reviews and proposing recovery plan(s), in case of any potential order shortfalls. . Creating added value for the customer and ABB and ensuring the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals, by using effective sales techniques. . Communicating to the customers about the details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB's offering and strategy. . Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market. . Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supporting cash collection and project management activities, when needed. Preparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager. . Ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers are in place, including prices and trading conditions.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor or master's degree in engineering.
  • 2 years experience in instrumentation sales -specializing on level measurement and field instrument devices (pressure, temperature, etc).
  • Strong knowledge on technical, targeted customers including end user and EPCC.
  • Experience in key accounts management and large project pursuit.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships with key decision makers of existing and potential customers.
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, and strong communication skills. Had experienced and involved in strategic pursuit / framework agreements / new developments.
  • Knowledge on the market of instrumentations specifically on Level measurement and field instrument device would be an advantage. Channel partner engagement/ management experience would be an advantage.
