Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Instrument Technician, based in Kuala Lumpur. The Instrument Technician will perform day-to-day activities including maintaining and calibrating instrumentation, ensuring systems are functioning optimally, and troubleshooting issues in process control systems. The individual will also be responsible for conducting preventive maintenance tasks and supporting operational safety and efficiency in line with company standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Instrumentation and Calibration to ensure proper equipment functioning
- Strong skills in Process Control and Troubleshooting for efficient resolution of technical issues
- Experience in Preventive Maintenance to maintain operational consistency and avoid equipment failure
- Attention to detail and a commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to the dynamic work environment
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
- Experience in oil and gas operations is an advantage
