About The Role
We are looking for a customer-focused Insurance Claims Advisor to support our Body & Paint operations. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end insurance claims process, coordinate vehicle repairs, and ensure customers receive a seamless service experience from vehicle intake through to collection.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend to customers enquiries and provide professional advice on vehicle repairs, insurance claims procedures, repair timelines and estimated costs.
- Manage the end-to-end insurance claims process, including documentation, claim submissions and follow-up with insurers.
- Guide customers through accident reporting and insurance claim requirements.
- Prepare and maintain accurate claims, repair and invoicing documentation.
- Coordinate vehicle damage assessments, repair estimates and repair schedules with the Body & Paint workshop.
- Liaise with insurance companies, leasing companies and internal departments to ensure timely claim approvals and vehicle repairs.
- Monitor repair progress and provide customers with regular updates on claim and vehicle status.
- Coordinate the ordering and availability of required spare parts.
- Conduct final vehicle inspections before handover and explain completed repair work to customers.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve service-related issues professionally.
- Build strong working relationships with customers, insurers and internal stakeholders.
- Support departmental projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma, NITEC or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in insurance claims, automotive service advising, Body & Paint operations or customer service will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of motor insurance claims procedures is preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and administrative skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
- Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence (preferred).
