What will you be doing
1. IBP / S&OP Process Leadership
- Lead and facilitate the monthly IBP/S&OP cycle including Monthly Performance Review, Demand and Supply Review, Gap Meeting, and HOD/Exec IBP meetings.
- Ensure cross-functional alignment on demand, supply, inventory, capacity, and financial plans.
- Drive integrated decision-making to balance service level, cost, inventory, and business growth objectives.
- Establish clear governance, planning cadence, escalation process, and accountability within the IBP framework.
- Continuously improving planning processes, tools, and ways of working to enhance organizational agility and responsiveness.
2. Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to develop robust demand forecasts based on market trends, promotions, innovation pipeline, seasonality, and business assumptions.
- Drive forecast accuracy improvement initiatives and reduce forecast bias across categories and channels.
- Ensure demand plans are aligned with commercial priorities and financial targets.
- Monitor forecast performance and identify risks and opportunities proactively.
3. Supply & Inventory Planning
- Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Logistics teams to ensure supply readiness and capacity alignment.
- Optimize inventory levels to balance customer service, working capital, freshness, and obsolescence risks.
- Identify supply constraints, risks, and mitigation plans to minimize business disruption.
- Support network optimization and supply efficiency initiatives.
4. Business Performance & Analytics
- Develop and manage planning KPIs including forecast accuracy, bias, service level, inventory level, stock freshness, case fill rate, waste, and slow-moving stock.
- Provide data-driven insights and scenario analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Drive root cause analysis on business gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare management dashboards and executive updates for leadership review.
5. Commercial & Financial Integration
- Ensure demand and supply plans are aligned with business financial targets and profitability objectives.
- Partner with Finance to integrate volume, revenue, and operational assumptions into financial planning.
- Support business planning processes including Annual Business Plan (ABP), rolling forecasts, and mid/long-term planning.
6. Innovation & Portfolio Planning
- Coordinate cross-functional readiness for innovation launches, promotional activities, and portfolio changes.
- Ensure operational feasibility and supply readiness for new product introductions.
- Support portfolio simplification and SKU rationalization initiatives to improve efficiency and focus.
7. Systems & Process Improvement
- Lead planning capability enhancement initiatives including digitization, automation, and system optimization.
- Ensure effective utilization of planning tools and systems.
- Drive continuous improvement culture through standardization, best practices, and capability building.
8. Stakeholder Management & Leadership
- Act as the central coordinator across Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams.
- Build strong collaborative relationships and foster a culture of accountability and integrated planning.
- Coach and develop planning team members to strengthen organizational capability.
- Strong communication skills, analytics, and business acumen.
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or related discipline. MBA is an added advantage.
- Minimum 12–15 years of experience in FMCG, Food & Beverage, or Consumer Goods industries.
- Proven track record in leading brand growth, innovation, and commercial transformation.
- Strong experience of managing P&L and leading cross-functional teams.
- Experience in regional or multi-market roles is an added advantage.
