Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Interface Software Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Gentran, Sterling B2B Integrator, Sterling Secure Proxy, and Sterling File Gateway. This role requires deep technical capability, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced

banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop batch services using Gentran, Sterling B2B Integrator, Sterling Secure Proxy, and Sterling File Gateway.

Handle file transfers with and without data transformation.

Work independently on Sterling Secure Proxy, Sterling File Gateway, and Sterling Business Processes.

Lead and develop Sterling Maps with strong technical expertise.

Coordinate with design teams for pending requirements and follow up as needed.

Identify, report, track, and close issues promptly.

Troubleshoot production issues and support extended hours when required.

Continuously learn and upgrade skills in advanced Sterling products.

Provide regular progress updates to management using established templates.

Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure compliance with IT and SDLC standards.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong software development background in Gentran, Sterling B2B Integrator, Sterling Secure Proxy, Sterling File Gateway.

Ability to understand SDD, FSD, and TSD technical specification documents.

Experience working on medium to complex interface projects (tech refresh, upgrades, migrations).

Hands-on experience in design, development, testing & deployment of API, IBM WAS, IBM ESB, and/or Sterling Commerce systems.

Accountability for system stability across managed interface systems.

Ability to build reliable, scalable solutions for digital banking initiatives.

Proficient in managing risks, escalations, and issues related to interface delivery.

Familiarity with ESQL coding and MQ setup.

Ability to conduct POCs to design scalable and reusable architecture.
