Job Description

Job Responsibility

Design Conceptualization

Collaborate with clients and other designers to understand their needs, preferences, and project requirements.
Develop creative and innovative design concepts that align with the company's vision and mission.

Space Planning

Utilize your knowledge of spatial design to plan and organize interior spaces effectively.
Optimize the functionality and flow of spaces to meet both aesthetic and practical considerations.

Material Selection

Source and select appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with the design concept and budgetary constraints.
Stay updated on current design trends and materials in the industry.

Technical Skills

Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications for construction and implementation.
Work with drafting tools and computer-aided design (CAD) software to create accurate and detailed plans.

Project Management

Coordinate with other team members, including architects, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

Client Interaction

Communicate design ideas and concepts effectively to clients.
Incorporate client feedback into the design process and make necessary adjustments.

Quality Control

Ensure that the final execution of designs meets the company's standards of quality and excellence.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise during construction.

Team Collaboration

Collaborate with other members of the design team, including junior and senior designers, to share ideas and expertise.
Provide guidance and mentor ship to junior team members, offering insights and feedback to help them develop their skills.
Contribute to a positive and creative work environment.

Documentation

Maintain accurate records of project details, including drawings, specifications, and correspondence.

Continued Learning

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess or currently pursuing at least a professional certificate, Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or equivalent.
Required language: English & Mandarin
Intermediate Interior Designers are welcomed to apply.
Good attitude and willing to learn.
Required skill(s): AutoCAD, 3Ds Max, Photoshop or relavant 3D softwares.
Independent and responsible with excellent communication skills
