INTERIOR DESIGN MANAGER

Objective:

• Lead and manage the interior design team to ensure successful completion of renovation and fit-out projects.
  

• Provide expertise in kitchen cabinet design.
  

• Train and mentor 6 to 10 interior designers to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field.
  
• Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate renovation and fit-out projects from conception to completion.
  

• Develop innovative design concepts and solutions for interior spaces.
  

• Manage budgeting, scheduling, and quality control for all projects.
  

• Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
  

• Conduct training sessions and workshops for interior designers to improve their technical skills and design capabilities.
  

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in interior design, renovation, fit-out, and kitchen cabinet design.
  

• Provide guidance and support to the interior design team.
  

• Ad-hoc task by superior.
  
  
• Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in interior design or related field.
  

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in interior design, with a focus on renovation projects.
  

• Strong portfolio showcasing successful interior design projects in the renovation field.
  

• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Photoshop.
  

• Knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and materials relevant to interior design.
  

• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
  

• Strong communication, presentation, and client management abilities.
  

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  

• Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia. Excellent Mandarin fluency is an added advantage.
