We are hiring a Senior Interior Designer and an Assistant Design Manager to support large-scale corporate and commercial fit-out projects. Both roles work closely together, with scope and responsibility aligned to the experience level.
Senior Interior Designer
- Hands-on ownership of design development and delivery
- Leads design from concept through construction
- Produces and coordinates design concepts, space planning, materials, and documentation
- Works directly with clients, consultants, and vendors
- Supports site coordination and mentors junior designers
Assistant Design Manager
- Oversees multiple design packages and projects
- Reviews and approves design outputs and documentation
- Manages design coordination across clients, project managers, consultants, and authorities
- Mentors the design team and ensures design quality, timelines, and compliance
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- 25 years of experience in corporate and commercial fit-out projects
- Strong portfolio demonstrating medium to large-scale projects (3000- 20000 sq ft)
- Solid understanding of space planning, materials, finishes, and fit-out construction
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- (Revit and MS Office are a plus, particularly for Assistant Design Manager level)
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Authorised to work in Malaysia
