Role Description The Intern Admin and Legal role is a full-time on-site position based in Kuala Lumpur. The intern will support daily administrative operations, including document preparation, filing, data entry, scheduling, and maintaining client records. They will assist legal professionals with basic legal research, organizing case files, preparing simple drafts, and coordinating communications with clients, courts, and authorities under supervision. The role involves handling incoming calls and inquiries, providing courteous customer service, and ensuring efficient office workflow. The intern will collaborate with the legal and administrative teams, learn about legal processes and procedures, and contribute to a professional and organized work environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication in English (additional languages are an advantage).
  • Solid Analytical Skills, with the ability to review information, identify key points, and support basic legal and administrative tasks.
  • Competence in Administrative Assistance, including document management, scheduling, data entry, and general office support.
  • Customer Service orientation, with a professional, courteous approach to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Basic understanding of Finance-related tasks, such as simple record-keeping, invoice tracking, and expense documentation.
  • Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email) and willingness to learn firm-specific systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, time management, and the ability to handle multiple tasks responsibly.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Law, Business, Administration, or a related field.
  • Ability to work on-site in Kuala Lumpur and collaborate effectively in a team-based, professional environment.
