Summary:
- To support the ENGINEER – CMMS (MAINTENANCE) in building, reviewing, and maintaining the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS – BASSnet) for FPSO/FPO facilities.
- Assist engineers with data collection, database updates, document reviews, and system administration while learning industry maintenance practices and standards.
- Assist the team on day-to-day material support request from offshore.
Key Accountabilities:
CMMS Database Support (BASSNet Upgrade):
- Assist in collecting engineering documents (e.g. P&IDs, equipment data sheets, manuals).
- Help prepare and check the Maintainable Equipment List (MEL) and equipment hierarchy in CMMS after upgrade.
- Support data entry for equipment information such as:
1. Tag numbers.
2. Equipment descriptions.
3. Vendor and technical data.
- Assist senior engineers with basic QA/QC checks on CMMS data.
CMMS Review for Existing Facilities:
- Support reviews of existing CMMS records to ensure information is complete and updated.
- Assist in checking:
1. Tag numbers.
2. Equipment descriptions.
3. Vendor and technical data.
- Help compile findings and observations for review by senior engineers.
CMMS Review for Existing Facilities:
- Support reviews of existing CMMS records to ensure information is complete and updated.

o Asset register accuracy.
o Preventive maintenance tasks.
o Equipment criticality information.
- Help compile findings and observations for review by senior engineers.
CMMS Administration Support:
- Assist in updating CMMS register based on approved change requests.
- Support bulk data uploads, reporting, and data extraction under supervision.
- Help investigate and resolve basic CMMS user or data issues.
Maintenance & System Support Activities:
- Assist in CMMS-related activities for:
o Riskpoynt system daily upload and checking data quality.
o BASSNet-SAP material replication support.
o BASSNet-SAP error log.
- Provide general administrative and technical support to the Maintenance Team as required.
Learning Exposure (On-the-Job Training):
During the internship, you will gain exposure to:
- CMMS (BASSnet or equivalent systems).
- Asset hierarchy and equipment registers.
- Maintenance strategies and routines.
- Basic equipment failure concepts.
- Offshore and FPSO facility maintenance practices.
- Engineering standards and documentation.
Preferred Background:
- Engineering student, Computer/Data/IT related discipline with basic knowledge of engineering of oil and gas.
- Interest in maintenance systems, asset management, or offshore/oil & gas industry.
- Intermediate computer literacy (Microsoft Excel, Word).
- Basic literacy in data management software is added advantages (SQL, MS Access).
- Candidate must possess at least a CGPA of 3.30 and above.
- Proficient in writing and communicating in English.
- Required skill(s): Good coordination skills, project management, excellent interpersonal skills, and positive learning attitude with a continuous improvement mindset and proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
