Intern – Master Data Management (MDM)
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn from industry experts in a fast-paced environment. You will support the Master Data Management (MDM) team in maintaining accurate and high-quality data across core business systems, contributing to efficient business operations and decision-making.
This internship will provide you with valuable exposure to data governance, SAP master data processes, and how data supports key business functions across the organization.
In this role, you will also:
- Assist in maintaining and updating master data (e.g. Material, Vendor, Customer) in SAP and related systems
- Support processing of master data requests via digital forms and workflows (e.g. eMaterial, eVendor, eContract)
- Perform basic data validation and assist in data quality checks and cleansing activities
- Help track and follow up on data requests to ensure timely completion
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, Sales) to support data requirements
- Assist in documenting processes, guidelines, and standard operating procedures
- Support administrative and coordination tasks for the MDM team
Key Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in IT, Business, Data Analytics, or related field
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Basic understanding of data management or databases is an added advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Proactive, fast learner, and able to work independently
