Ansell is looking for a Intern, EHS to join our team in Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia.

In this position you will play a vital role in support continuous improvement in ensuring a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace. The intern assists in implementing EHS policies, conducting safety inspections, and promoting awareness of safety practices among employees.

Throughout the internship, the individual gains practical exposure to workplace safety standards, risk assessment processes, and environmental compliance requirements. Key responsibilities typically include assisting with safety audits, monitoring workplace conditions, maintaining EHS documentation, and supporting incident investigations.

Responsibility:-

  • Assist in EHS day-to-day work and other relevant documentation work & EHS monitoring analysis
  • Assist in maintaining safety and health programs to ensure compliance with current OSHA & FMA regulations and other applicable environmental standards.
  • Support scheduled waste management as per EQ (Scheduled Waste) Regulation 2005
  • Support the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System programs
  • Support overall chemical management system as per OSHA regulations
  • Assist other ad-hoc activities related to EHS

What you will bring

  • Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Environment, Health & Safety, Environmental Science / Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, charts) and PowerPoint
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes is an advantage
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
