Ansell is looking for a Intern, EHS to join our team in Seremban, Malaysia!
As a EHS Intern, you will support the Environment, Health & Safety team in implementing and maintaining workplace safety, health, and environmental programs. This role provides hands-on exposure to EHS practices, compliance requirements, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing or corporate environment. The intern will assist in promoting a safe and healthy workplace while gaining practical experience in occupational safety, environmental management, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibility: -
- Assist in maintaining the Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety Management System documentation, ensuring it is up to date, documents controlled, records maintained, information communicated to stakeholders.
- These include risk & legal registers, incident reporting data and monthly / annual reporting.
- Assist in collating data for baseline measurement of Ansell's EHS performance.
- Assist with worksite inspections and other checking activities related to EHS.
- Assist in organizing safety training, awareness campaigns, and emergency preparedness activities.
- Support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions arising from audits or inspections.
- Collaborate with employees and departments to promote a positive safety culture.
- Perform other EHS-related tasks and projects as assigned.

What you will bring
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
