Job Summary
The Intern will support planning, coordinating and execution of initiatives related to technology adoption, entrepreneurship development, and ecosystem building, primarily in AI and semiconductor. This internships provides hands-on exposure to technology commercialisation, innovation programmes, startup ecosystems, stakeholder engagement, and strategic initiatives involving government, corporates, startups, innovators and partners. Final-year students who are keen to build a career in AI and deep tech ecosystems, innovation programmes, entrepreneurship, or public-sector technology development are welcome to apply.
Job Responsibilities
AI & Ecosystem Programme Support
- Support the planning and execution of AI and semiconductor initiatives, including workshops, business matching, ecosystem engagements, and industry programmes under AI Connect
- Assist in coordinating with innovators, technology companies, corporates, universities, research institutions, investors, and ecosystem partners.
- Support ecosystem-building activities such as industry dialogues, workshops, showcases, networking sessions, and technology engagement programmes.
- Assist in tracking programme participation, outputs, and key impact metrics (e.g. companies engaged, partnerships formed, projects progressed).
Technology, Research & Entrepreneurship Support
- Conduct basic research on AI, semiconductor, and emerging technology trends, as well as local and international startup ecosystems
- Assist in identifying potential companies, industry partners, and collaborators for programme participation and market access initiatives.
- Support documentation related to innovation initiatives, pilot projects, partnerships, and ecosystem engagements.
Operations & Coordination
- Provide day-to-day coordination support to senior team members on assigned projects.
- Assist in preparing presentation materials, reports, and briefing notes for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support internal coordination across teams to ensure smooth execution of initiatives.
- Handle administrative tasks related to programmes, meetings, and stakeholder engagements.
Ad-hoc & Strategic Support
- Support ad-hoc tasks related to strategic initiatives, stakeholder meetings, and special projects.
- Assist in preparing summaries, meeting notes, and follow-up action items.
- Assist in compiling and organising project documentation, progress updates, and reporting materials related to AI and semiconductor projects.
- Support basic tracking of project milestones, deliverables, and outcomes in line with programme requirements.
Job Requirements
- Final-year undergraduate student (or equivalent) in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics or related fields
- Strong interest in AI, semiconductor, startups or innovation ecosystems
- Good research, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
