Job Description

This internship provides practical exposure to Organisation Development initiatives within MCMC, including leadership development, coaching, succession planning, career management, and Career Laddering efforts. Through hands-on involvement in programme coordination, documentation, communication, and evaluation support, the intern will gain an understanding of how structured people development and career architecture contribute to organisational effectiveness and regulatory readiness.

Leadership Development Programme

  • Assist in developing and enhancing programme materials for ALPs, All-Star, E-Series and coaching initiatives
  • Support creation of digital learning assets (infographics, visual summaries, bite-size videos using Vyond or equivalent tools)
  • Contribute to engagement campaigns to increase programme participation and awareness
  • Support post-programme data analysis and preparation of insight summaries
  • Assist in identifying improvement areas based on participant feedback

Learning Outcome: Exposure to programme design, learning analytics, and engagement strategy.

Career Ladder Project

  • Assist in refining visual representations of Career Ladder pathways and progression frameworks
  • Support preparation of communication toolkits for Career Ladder rollouts Develop visual or digital materials to enhance employee understanding of career pathways
  • Support documentation of stakeholder feedback and framework improvement inputs
  • Assist in pilot implementation activities and communication tracking

Learning Outcome: Exposure to organisational career architecture and change communication.

Succession Planning Development

  • Assist in organising and analysing succession data (non-confidential structured data only)
  • Support preparation of talent review presentation materials
  • Contribute to basic talent gap analysis exercises
  • Assist in developing visual dashboards or summaries for succession insights
  • Support improvement of succession documentation templates

Learning Outcome: Exposure to workforce planning concepts and talent analytics.

Survey & Impact Evaluation

  • Assist in preparing and administering post-programme and post-initiative surveys related to leadership development, coaching, and Career Laddering initiatives
  • Support compilation of survey responses, basic data analysis, and preparation of summary reports to support internal review and continuous improvement

Learning Outcome: Exposure to learning evaluation methods, basic HR analytics, and evidence-based programme improvement practices.

General HR & Learning

  • Provide ad-hoc support for Organisation Development, leadership development, career management, and Career Laddering initiatives as required
  • Support cross-unit initiatives where Organisation Development is involved in a coordinating or supporting role

Learning Outcome: Exposure to cross-functional HR coordination, organisational governance processes, and integrated talent management operations.

Qualifications/Courses/Studies Background

  • Currently pursuing a Degree in Human Resource Management or Management or Business Administration or Organisational Development or in any related field with a minimum CGPA of 3.2/4.0 from a recognised university;
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills, resourceful with the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Proficient in MS 365, particularly Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (including basic tracking and data organisation)
  • Comfortable working with documentation, trackers, and structured records
  • Creative mindset with interest in digital media, visual communication, or internal engagement content
  • Basic knowledge or hands-on experience in designing e-posters, infographics, or short videos (Vyond or similar tools is an advantage)
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work with multiple stakeholders across units
  • Willingness to learn and support Organisation Development, Career Management, and Career Laddering initiatives
