We are looking for an Intern in Malaysia who will support the Investment Middle Office team in investment-related reporting, data management, governance, and operational activities.

What You'll Do

  • Support the team with investment-related reporting, data management, and operational activities.
  • Assist in the preparation, validation, and maintenance of investment, risk, and performance reports.
  • Support monitoring activities to ensure compliance with investment guidelines, mandates, and internal policies.
  • Assist in maintaining investment-related records, documentation, and databases.
  • Coordinate information and documentation requests between Investment, Operations, Compliance, Product Development, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in organizing Investment Committee meetings, including preparation of meeting materials, agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
  • Support vendor, service provider, and departmental administrative activities as required.
  • Assist with business continuity, governance, and departmental projects, where applicable.
  • Perform research, analysis, and ad hoc assignments to support the investment team.

Who You Are

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Actuarial Science, Investment Management, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with capital markets, investments, ESG, or asset management would be an advantage.
  • You are able to complete an internship of 6 months.
