We are currently seeking a enthusiastic undergraduate student to join our Islamic Market Coverage department under our Alliance Islamic Bank (AIS) entity as an Intern, Islamic Investment Solutions.
Job Description
Business Support
- Daily - track daily sales from the provider
- Weekly - compile sales number for weekly reporting
- Fortnightly - conduct aging exercise for Credit Takaful products (MRTT, BRTT, BLTT) - liaison between Group Credit Administration (GCA) and Takaful provider, ensure takaful disbursement to reflect AIS income.
- Monthly - Follow up Islamic Wealth income performance from Group Finance (GF)
- Monthly - update AMM deck
Product Development
- Guided (assist) maker function for product paper
- Papers caretaker between AIS and stakeholders eg. Shariah, Compliance, Risk keep track on timeline and monitor responses
Business Maintenance
- Compliance & Risk timeline caretaker for business partner ADD exercise
- Regulatory assist in tracking request and responses on regulatory matters

- Good interpersonal skills and ability to handle a myriad of people across all levels.
- Resourceful and adaptable in a changing environment.
- Good planning and organization skills to meet objectives within stipulated deadlines
Knowledge
- Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point at intermediate level
- Writing basic formal communication for email mainly in English
- Basic knowledge in Wealth Management (Investment / Takaful) would be an added advantage
