Position Title: Intern Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental (OSHE)
Snapshot Of The Role
To support the OSHE team in implementing workplace safety and health initiatives, ensuring compliance through inspections, audits, training, and documentation updates.
You Are Driven To
- Risk Assessment
- Assist in updating Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment & Risk Control (HIRARC) documentation.
- Audit
- Assist in internal and external audit preparation.
- Assist in maintaining and updating documentation filing for easy access.
- Update Typhoid Vaccination data.
- Update Incident Summary for non-LTI cases.
- Inspection
- Participate in workplace inspections to identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and unsafe practices.
- Participate in Housekeeping & Facilities Management Inspection.
- Inspect safety and emergency equipment available in the plants.
- Prepare workplace inspection and Housekeeping & Facilities Management Inspection reports.
- Assist in First Aid Box Inspection & Replenishment.
- Assist to follow-up Open/Pending workplace inspection issues.
- Training
- Support conduction of OSH trainings and programs.
- Facilitate safety video training.
- Update training records.
- Communication
- Assist in updating and maintaining OSH Communication & Bulletin Board.
What You'll Need To Succeed
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Detail-oriented and organized in handling documentation
- Basic understanding of workplace safety standards and regulations
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Willingness to work both in the office and factory floor environment
- 3-6 months internship duration
