Job Description

  • Learn and ramp on design implementation and physical design fundamental flow, spanning across Synthesis, DFT
  • Place & Route and close timing on very large and complex ASICs and SOCs in Very-Deep Sub-Micron (VDSM) process technology nodes.
  • Potentially work on multiple blocks in parallel towards P&R/STA/DRC-LVS and IR Drop closure.
  • Tasks assignment span through design discipline, covering from RTL, verification, design automation, design implementation and physical design, depending on business need.
  • Communicate regularly with the assigned coach to resolve issues and to ensure meeting targeted goals and schedule.

Requirements/Qualifications

Undergraduate for Bachelors in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering/Science are encouraged to apply:

  • BEng/MEng in EE or Computer Engineering/Science.
  • Basic design knowledge with RTL (VHDL/VERILOG) coding.
  • Understand the silicon process technology (90nm, 65nm, 40nm and etc).
  • Knowledge in timing requirement and physical design (e.g. stick diagram) is a plus
  • Scripting skill in any programming language is a plus.
  • Able to work independently under local project lead/supervisor mentorship
  • Ability in debugging, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
