Intern – TikTok Live Host (Tamil Speaking)
Job Description
We are looking for a confident, energetic, and creative TikTok Live Host Intern who is fluent in Tamil to join our team. The intern will assist in hosting TikTok LIVE sessions, promoting our products, engaging with viewers, and supporting our social media and sales activities.
This is a great opportunity for students or fresh graduates who are interested in TikTok, social media, content creation, marketing, and online sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Host and assist with TikTok LIVE sessions in Tamil.
- Introduce and promote products to viewers in an engaging and convincing manner.
- Communicate product information, prices, promotions, discounts, and special offers clearly.
- Interact with viewers through comments, questions, polls, and other LIVE features.
- Encourage viewers to follow the account, comment, add products to cart, and make purchases.
- Maintain an energetic, friendly, and positive attitude throughout the LIVE session.
- Prepare simple scripts, talking points, and content ideas for LIVE sessions.
- Assist with product demonstrations and showcasing products during LIVE sessions.
- Monitor viewer engagement and respond to customer questions during LIVE sessions.
- Work closely with the marketing and sales team to support promotional campaigns.
- Assist in preparing products and the LIVE setup before each session.
- Keep up with TikTok trends, popular content, and LIVE selling techniques.
- Support other social media and marketing activities when required.
Requirements
- Fluent in Tamil, with good verbal communication skills.
- Confident and comfortable speaking in front of a camera.
- Friendly, outgoing, energetic, and engaging personality.
- Interested in TikTok, social media, content creation, marketing, or online sales.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to learn and take initiative.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Students pursuing Marketing, Business, Communications, Media, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
- Fresh graduates and candidates with no prior LIVE hosting experience are welcome to apply.
- Training will be provided.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of TikTok and TikTok LIVE.
- Experience creating social media content is an advantage.
- Comfortable following scripts while also communicating naturally with viewers.
- Able to think quickly and respond to viewers during LIVE sessions.
- Creative and aware of current TikTok trends.
