Job Description

We're looking for a curious and detail-oriented intern to join our User Research team. You'll get hands-on exposure to how user insights shape product decisions in a fast-paced fintech environment, supporting products used by millions of users across payments, financial services, and platform experiences.

As a User Research Intern, you'll support end-to-end research activities from planning and recruitment, to conducting sessions, synthesising findings, and sharing insights with product teams. You'll work closely with researchers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to help uncover user needs, behaviours, and pain points, ensuring our products remain intuitive, inclusive, and trustworthy.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is curious about users, enjoys making sense of qualitative and quantitative data, and wants to learn how research directly influences real-world digital products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support user research activities across different product areas (e.g. payments, lending, savings, platform features)
  • Assist in planning and executing qualitative and quantitative research (e.g. user interviews, usability testing, surveys)
  • Help with participant recruitment, scheduling, and session coordination
  • Take clear and structured notes during research sessions
  • Assist in synthesising research findings into themes, insights, and key takeaways
  • Support the creation of research artefacts such as summaries, reports, journey maps, and slides
  • Maintain research documentation, trackers, and repositories
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand research needs
  • Support ad-hoc research tasks and operational activities as needed

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing) in Psychology, UI/UX, Social Sciences, Business, Design, or related fields
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Preferred but not compulsory:
  • Strong interest in user research, UX, or human-centred design
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable handling multiple tasks
  • Ability to synthesise qualitative and quantitative data into clear insights
  • Basic familiarity with research methods (e.g. interviews, usability testing, surveys)
  • Comfortable using tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, or similar
  • Bonus: Familiarity with UX or research tools (e.g. Figma, Typeform, Lyssna, CleverTap, Confluence)
  • Bonus: Interest in fintech, digital payments, or financial services

Our Perks & Benefits:

  • eWallet meal allowance.
  • Unlimited office pantry fruits, snacks and drinks.
