We are seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join our Asia team and contribute to regional and group-wide audit programs. This role is critical in evaluating internal controls, identifying key risks, and supporting risk management objectives. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure compliance with global standards and drive continuous improvement across business processes.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in planning the internal audit schedule and defining audit scopes.
- Develop audit plans aligned with international auditing standards.
- Execute internal audits independently or as part of a team, and lead engagements when assigned.
- Conduct ad-hoc audits to address emerging business needs.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and deliver verbal summaries to stakeholders.
- Present findings to audit and risk committees and provide activity summaries to senior management.
- Collaborate with business teams to assess corrective actions and support implementation of effective controls.
- Engage in regional and functional risk reviews and contribute to risk discussions with committees.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin; additional regional languages are an advantage.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Solid understanding of business processes and financial controls.
- Experience in risk management and operational audits.
- Familiarity with global internal audit standards.
- Professional accounting qualification preferred.
- Active membership with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
