Role Overview:
This role sits within the International HR COE and is responsible for: Leading talent acquisition for key positions across international markets; Building and managing overseas recruitment frameworks, channels, resources, tools, and employer branding initiatives; Supporting the execution of international organizational and talent strategies.
Location: Malaysia / Xiamen / Singapore (in order of preference; one location to be selected)
Key Responsibilities
1. Overseas Recruitment Framework Development
- Develop and continuously optimize global recruitment policies, processes, and standardized SOPs for overseas markets.
- Coordinate recruitment activities for key positions across international regions.
- Leverage internal talent mobility resources, including international assignments and internal transfers, to ensure a sustainable talent pipeline.
- Continuously enable and support recruitment teams across overseas regions and countries to enhance recruitment effectiveness.
2. Talent Pipeline and Compliance Management
- Partner closely with business leaders to identify and translate talent requirements.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical overseas positions.
- Ensure recruitment compliance across international markets and mitigate employment-related risks.
3. Overseas Employer Branding
- Lead the development and promotion of the company's employer brand across overseas markets.
- Tailor employer branding initiatives to local talent market characteristics.
- Strengthen the company's attractiveness and reputation among overseas talent communities.
4. Overseas Recruitment Resource Management
- Establish and manage diversified recruitment channels across international markets.
- Continuously optimize channel effectiveness, evaluate sourcing outcomes, and expand access to high-quality talent pools.
- Build and manage a global recruitment vendor network, including vendor onboarding, evaluation, and exit mechanisms.
- Standardize vendor management practices and support the efficient delivery of senior-level hiring projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience in overseas HR within a large multinational organization. Experience in the retail industry is preferred. Familiarity with the talent acquisition landscape and challenges of overseas retail businesses.
- Strong understanding of talent markets and employment regulations across multiple countries and regions, with experience leading recruitment for management and critical roles in an international retail environment.
