Job Description

The intern will assist the Eastern Regional Office team in supporting the operational and strategic functions of MCMC across the region. This role offers exposure to regional coordination, data management, stakeholder engagement, as well as project monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Administrative Support – Assisting with document preparation, data entry, filing, and scheduling meetings to ensure efficient office operations.
  2. Project Coordination – Supporting project teams by conducting research, compiling reports, and tracking progress on key initiatives.
  3. Data Management – Collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to help with decision- making and reporting requirements.
  4. Communication Assistance – Drafting emails, internal memos, and presentations, as well as helping coordinate correspondence between departments or external stakeholders
  5. Event & Meeting Support – Helping to organize meetings, workshops, or outreach events, including logistics planning and participant coordination.
  6. Process Improvement Contributions – Offering fresh perspectives on existing workflows, suggesting improvements, and assisting in implementing more efficient procedures.
  7. Learning & Development – Engaging in mentorship, training sessions, and hands-on experience to develop professional skills relevant to the industry.

Qualifications/Courses/Studies Background

Educational Background:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Communications, or a related discipline.

Skills & Competencies:

  1. Strong Communication Skills – Ability to draft reports, emails, and presentations effectively.
  2. Analytical & Research Abilities – Capacity to collect, interpret, and present data to support projects and decision-making.
  3. Organizational & Time Management – Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  4. Technical Proficiency – Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), data management tools, and general office software.
  5. Adaptability & Problem-Solving – Willingness to learn, take initiative, and find solutions in a dynamic work environment.
