Internship - Finance Executive (Accounts Payable)

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of Accounts Payable Ledger
• To maintain a portfolio of suppliers assigned and ensure that there are no long outstanding unpaid invoices to prevent credit hold.
• To reconcile creditors balances on a regular basis and to liaise with supplier on invoices, credit notes and account balances.
• To process payments to suppliers accurately and within their terms and condition.
• To check and verify suppliers invoices / debit notes / credit notes with purchase orders / delivery orders, etc.
• To do coding and subsequent data entry of invoices / debit notes / credit notes.
• To verify and process monthly staff claims timely and accurately.
• To maintain and upkeep the Web-Claims application

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Finance or a related field.
• Meticulous, trustworthy and committed
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Minimum internship period of 6 months preferred.
