Internship in F&B - Service Associate

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Service Associate Intern at Valiram, you will assist in serving food and beverages efficiently and courteously, while learning to uphold service standards and follow established policies. This role offers practical experience in delivering quality dining service within a professional F&B setting.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Final year students / in between semester break / fresh graduates in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Retail, Communication, and Hospitality).
• Students that are looking for a Mandatory/Voluntarily internship.
• Open for students from TVET, College, University. Diploma or equivalent undergraduates and above.
• Good academic achievements Minimum CGPA of 2.80.
• Minimum 3-month commitment (6 months preferred).
• Willing to work retail shift, weekends, and public holidays.
• Good conversational in English (MUET Band 3 - minimum).
• Able to be placed at any Valiram stores across Malaysia.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

• Maintains cleanliness and mise-end-place level at working station and service pantry for smooth operation.
• Follows correct sequence of service outlined in the Standard Operating Manual.
• Sets up tables in accordance with Restaurant policy.
• Cleans and removes dishes from the table after service is completed.
• Transports soiled dishes from dining room to kitchen and depositing them in proper placing at the Steward area.
• To provide exemplary customer services by greeting and acknowledging every customer.
• To ensure customers complaints and requests are communicated to management.
• Establishes effective employee relations and maintain the highest level of professionalism, ethic and attitude towards all guests, clients and heads of department.
