Pantai Bharu began as a construction company before transitioning into the automotive industry in 1978, specialising in imported used and reconditioned vehicles from Japan. Since then, we've grown into a trusted name in Malaysia's automotive landscape-launching our Proton Edar Sales Dealership in 1983 and establishing Bangunan Pantai Bharu in 1991. Today, with over 200 professionals nationwide, we operate multiple 3S dealerships across Proton, Perodua, KIA, and electric vehicles. Our commitment to innovation, customer-centricity, and operational excellence drives everything we do.

At Pantai Bharu, we believe in building brands that move people, both literally and emotionally. As we expand into reconditioned vehicles, electric mobility, and automotive services, we are seeking a driven Marketing & Customer Relations Intern to support our marketing outreach and customer experience efforts. This role offers hands-on exposure to marketing, brand activations, and front-line service. It is an excellent opportunity to grow skills in both marketing and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing

a. Content Creation

  • Assist in planning and developing content calendars for multiple social media.
  • Create engaging content including graphics, short-form videos, and captions.
  • Ensure content aligns with brand tone and campaign objectives.
  • Stay updated on current trends and competitor activity to suggest fresh ideas.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., sales, after sales) for content needs.

b. Social Media Management

  • Support daily posting, scheduling, and community engagement across multiple platforms.
  • Monitor comments, messages, and interactions to maintain a responsive online presence.
  • Track performance of posts and campaigns, compiling simple reports with insights.

c. Campaign & Collaboration

  • Assist in brainstorming and executing campaigns, promotions, events, and roadshows.
  • Support both digital and on-ground initiatives, including teasers, live updates, logistics coordination, and post-event content.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure cohesive messaging and smooth execution across all platforms.
  • Contribute to planning and activation of brand presence at exhibitions, launches, and community outreach programmes.

2. Customer Relations

a. Customer Engagement

  • Greet walk-in customers warmly and professionally.
  • Answer incoming calls, provide assistance, and relay messages to relevant staff.
  • Guide and usher guests to their destinations within the showroom.

b. Hospitality Service

  • Offer complimentary refreshments and introduce café selections.
  • Take orders from the café and manage customer payments.
  • Serve meals and drinks using proper dining ware while maintaining service standards

c. Showroom Experience

  • Maintain cleanliness by clearing used items and cleaning dining ware.
  • Ensure digital screens and ambient music are active during operating hours.
  • Monitor showroom ambiance and suggest improvements.
