This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in risk management, compliance, and corporate governance. Responsibilities include assisting in risk assessments, evaluations, and documentation, as well as supporting governance initiatives, policy reviews, and integrity programs.
Job Description
Risk & Compliance
- Assist in implementing an overall risk management process for the organisation, which includes Business Continuity Management (BCM), Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and risk analysis;
- Assist in performing a risk assessment by analyzing current risks and identifying potential risks that are affecting the company;
- Assist in performing a risk evaluation by evaluating the company's previous handling of risks, and comparing potential risks with criteria set out;
- Assist in compiling documentation and filing; and
- Assist in coordinating functions and meetings.
Integrity & Governance
- Assist the Integrity and Governance team in managing daily activities and administrative tasks;
- Assist in coordinating and tracking action plans from internal and external audits related to governance, risk, and compliance;
- Support the drafting and review of policies, procedures, guidelines, forms, and templates related to the department's operations;
- Assist in implementing the Corruption Risk Management (CRM), Organization Anti-Corruption Plan (OACP) and Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS);
- Support the team in planning and executing Integrity Awareness Programs and initiatives to promote an integrity culture;
- Proactively learn about governance, risk, compliance, and integrity practices through on-the-job exposure and guidance from team members; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director, Risk & Integrity or team members.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Risk Management, Business Management/ Administration, Finance, Law, or any related field.
- Must be willing to work in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Possesses good interpersonal skill, good command in English and Bahasa, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Eagerness to learn in a professional environment and strong sense of responsibility, independent, able to multitask and attention to details.
