Internship (Slickline Services)

Dimension Bid Sdn Bhd is offering an exciting internship opportunity within our Slickline Services team based in Miri, Sarawak. This role is ideal for students pursuing a diploma or degree in any engineering discipline who are eager to gain hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry. As an intern, you will support various slickline operations, learn about slickline techniques, and collaborate closely with industry professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Field Support: Assist field engineers and technicians with the setup, operation, and maintenance of slickline equipment during field operations.
• Data Collection & Analysis: Aid in collecting and analyzing data from slickline operations to ensure accurate and effective decision-making.
• Equipment Maintenance: Participate in the routine maintenance, calibration, and inspection of slickline tools to ensure they meet operational standards.
• Documentation: Help prepare and review technical reports, operational logs, and other documentation related to slickline services.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment both in the field and in the office.
• Training & Learning: Engage in training programs and hands-on learning to develop a thorough understanding of slickline services and operations.

Qualifications:

• Education: Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in any engineering field, including but not limited to Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen interest in oil and gas technologies.
• Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of slickline operations and equipment is advantageous but not required.
• Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Adaptability: Willingness to learn, adapt to new challenges, and contribute to various tasks in a dynamic work setting.
