Setel serves customers across Malaysia by powering one app as the constant companion to ease motorists’ journey across fueling, parking, EV charging, motor insurance, road tax, auto assistance, general purchases, and more across an ecosystem of PETRONAS petrol stations, retail partners, and online merchants.
In this role you will:
- Assist in configuring and maintaining test automation infrastructure (Windows, macOS, Android, iOS) and pipeline (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
- Learn and work with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Robot Framework.
- Collaborate with quality assurance leaders in identifying and analyzing potential test automation capability improvements.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the test automation process to maximize efficiency and follow industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain documents related to test automation.
- Collaborate with quality assurance engineers to improve test coverage and enhance automation frameworks.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Assist with any related tasks, projects, and other assigned duties as and when deemed necessary.
- Ensure adherence to the compliance of company policies, industry regulations and legal requirements.
You're a great fit if you have/are:
- Internship period of 6 months or longer
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic programming or scripting knowledge in Java, Python or Bash
- Experience with source code management tools such as GitHub, Bitbucket or Gitlab
- Nice to have experience with web automation tools such as Selenium.
- Nice to have experience with mobile automation tools such as Appium or similar.
- Nice to have experience with test automation pipeline such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD or similar
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
