What You'll Do

Planning: -

  • Assist in preparing production schedules and follow up on progress. Monitor planning adherence by collecting and consistently updating data.
  • Support coordination with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to align plans under senior guidance.
  • Update and clean planning data in SAP and 42Q systems, including work orders. Support on-time reporting such as container plans.
  • Daily activities will involve data entry, schedule monitoring, and cross-team communication. Success means accurate, timely planning data and smooth coordination. Minimal travel may be required for coordination purposes.

Logistic & Warehouse: -

  • Observe and learn warehouse layout optimization and material handling practices.
  • Support transport scheduling and coordination with freight forwarding agents. Assist in shipment preparation including shipping documents (CIPL) and shipment verification, collaborating with warehouse and logistics representatives to ensure timely and accurate documentation.
  • Participate in kaizen initiatives to reduce picking errors and improve space utilization. Handle minor operational issues under guidance, contributing to problem-solving efforts.
  • Daily tasks include documentation, coordination, and process improvement participation. Success is measured by accuracy, timeliness, and operational efficiency.

What You'll Bring

Must-haves:

  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Warehouse and Logistics, Business, or related field
  • Positive and strong attitude with consistent attendance and availability
  • Basic knowledge of planning and logistics processes
  • Ability to work onsite at Batu Caves

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with SAP or 42Q systems
  • Familiarity with production scheduling and inventory management
  • Exposure to kaizen or continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
