Description
- Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimise stockouts or overstocking.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment of goods.
- Monitor and analyse supply chain data to identify trends and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and plan procurement activities effectively.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports on inventory and supply chain performance.
- Communicate with Japanese-speaking stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Resolve supply chain issues promptly to avoid disruptions in operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all supply chain processes.
Profile
A Successful Inventory Planner (Japanese Speaker) Should Have
- Business proficiency in both Japanese (N2 and above) and English for effective communication - speak, read & write
- A strong understanding of supply chain and procurement processes within the FMCG industry.
- Min 2 years experience in supply planning, inventory planning, replenish panning, demand planning or related field.
- Good analytical skills to monitor and interpret supply chain data.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in working with inventory management or ERP systems (eg. SAP) is an advantage.
