Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels across warehouses and retail locations
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits
  • Update inventory databases and reconcile discrepancies
  • Collaborate with purchasing, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure stock accuracy
  • Generate inventory reports and assist in forecasting demand
  • Identify and report obsolete or slow-moving items
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
  • Uphold good housekeeping practices and adherence to 5S standards (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient working environment.
  • Provide actionable insights to management on optimizing inventory turnover, reducing holding costs, and improving overall logistics efficiency.
  • Ensure that inventory processes comply with internal controls, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Oversee the proper handling, storage, and labeling of materials in the warehouse.
  • Maintain the safety and security of the store and shipping area, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and protocols.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics
  • Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for basic reporting and record keeping.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to lift and move items as needed
  • Familiarity with barcode scanners and RF systems is a plus
  • Good oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors/logistics partners.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required, based on production needs.

  • Ensure accuracy in all aspects of inventory handling and documentation.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines, especially when dealing with time-sensitive production and shipping orders.
  • Capable of troubleshooting issues in inventory discrepancies, material shortages, or shipping delays.
  • Interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team and coordinate with various departments (production, logistics, quality assurance, etc.).
  • Ability to adapt to changing warehouse environments, workflows, and priorities.
