Job Description

Role Overview

Support senior investment professionals on deal underwriting, financial modelling, transaction execution, portfolio analytics, and investor-facing materials. Alongside investment work, the role will involve preparing pitch decks, fund-raising materials, IC/IR presentations, and occasionally engaging with external investors and capital partners.

This role is ideal for someone quantitatively strong, commercially sharp, and eager to build a long-term career in private markets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Investment Underwriting & Financial Modelling

Build, maintain, and audit institutional-grade financial models across acquisitions, developments, platform deals, portfolio aggregations, and exit scenarios.

Execute DCF, IRR/MOIC analysis, sensitivity/scenario modelling, and capital structure work.

Analyse rent rolls, operating statements, underwriting assumptions, and returns attribution.

Support valuation activities in line with global private markets standards.

2. Transaction Execution

Support full-cycle deal execution, from origination to closing.

Assist in coordinating legal, tax, technical, and commercial due diligence.

Prepare Investment Committee (IC) materials, transaction summaries, and deal memos.

Participate in term negotiations, financial analysis, and structuring discussions.

3. Research, Strategy & Market Intelligence

Conduct thematic deep dives on target sectors including logistics, industrial, data centres, renewable energy and adjacent private equity verticals.

Monitor capital markets, macroeconomic trends, competitor movements, and sector performance.

Contribute to strategy papers, market maps, and investment thesis development.

4. Portfolio & Asset Analytics

Assist in tracking asset-level performance, operating KPIs, budget adherence, and leasing performance.

Prepare variance analysis, quarterly reporting inputs, and business plan updates.

5. Pitch Decks, IC/IR Materials & Investor Engagement

Support the Investments team in preparing:

Pitch decks for new deals and capital partners

Fund-raising materials, including investor teasers and mandate presentations

Investment Committee (IC) decks with clear, concise investment narratives

Investor Relations (IR) decks for ongoing fund reporting and portfolio updates

Assist in preparing materials for LP meetings, due diligence sessions, and capital-raising roadshows.

Occasionally interface with external investors, advisors, and strategic partners as required.

Ensure all materials reflect institutional-grade clarity, accuracy, and professionalism.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements

This role is open to candidates at both junior and more experienced levels. Scope of responsibilities and level of autonomy will be calibrated based on experience.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Accounting, Engineering, or related fields.

Experience in buy-side, sell-side, valuation, deal advisory, strategy consulting, or similar analytical roles.

Excellent Excel modelling and PowerPoint presentation skills.

Strong grasp of corporate finance, accounting, and valuation principles.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple simultaneous workstreams.

Strong analytical rigor and high attention to detail.

Commercially intuitive with good investment judgment.

Highly organised with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Able to operate with maturity, confidentiality, and professionalism when interacting with investors.

Humble, team-oriented, and self-driven.

Advantageous to have

Experience in real estate underwriting or development financial analysis.

Background from Big 4 Deals, Big 4 Valuations, IB analyst programs, or PE analyst roles.

Exposure to Argus, GIS platforms, and financial databases.

Prior experience preparing IC decks or investor-facing materials.
