We are looking for an investment professional who can own the full analytical picture — from understanding a project's commercial and technical realities, to building the model, to leading the investment case. Key Responsibilities
- Act as a business partner that bridges commercial, technical, and financial perspectives to deliver model-driven insights
- Engage with development, technical, and other teams to understand project constraints, converting them into financial model analysis and clear investment recommendations
- Lead the investment approval process by consolidating information across teams, stress-testing assumptions, surfacing risks, and presenting recommendations to the investment committee
- Define the analytical framework for each project and ensure the modelling reflects the real commercial and technical picture
- Own the modelling workstream across the portfolio, stepping in as hands-on contributor on complex or high-priority transactions
- Take an active role across the transaction lifecycle — leading workstreams, driving due diligence, supporting the structuring of debt and equity arrangements
- Maintain investment databases and deal flow tracking while actively partnering with management and internal teams to improve processes and turn data into sharper portfolio insights
- Support the development of junior team members, providing guidance on modelling, analysis, and investment process
Qualificationsand Skills
- 7-10 years of experience in investment, project finance, or a related quantitative role; renewable energy experience highly valued
- Degree in finance, business, engineering, computer science, or mathematics
- Expert-level financial modelling skills in Excel; experience with coding or data tools a strong plus
- Strong commercial instinct — able to grasp technical and contractual constraints and translate them into financial analysis and investment judgment
- Clear and confident communicator, able to present complex financial outputs to non-technical stakeholders including management and investors
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects and markets with a high degree of autonomy
