About The Role
We are seeking an experienced iOS Developer to design, develop, and maintain Rakuten Trade's mobile applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.
- Develop and support React / React Native components where applicable.
- Ensure applications meet performance, stability, and security requirements.
- Integrate mobile applications with backend systems via RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with backend, QA, UX/UI, and product teams.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
- Support App Store releases and post-production issues.
- Apply secure coding best practices.
Requirements
Must-have:
- 3–5 years of professional iOS development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.
- Experience with React / React Native.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with Git and mobile app lifecycle.
- App Store deployment experience.
Nice-to-have:
- Understanding of iOS frameworks (UIKit, Foundation, Core Data).
- Awareness of mobile security best practices.
- Experience in fintech or regulated environments.
- CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
- Testing frameworks (XCTest, Jest).
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
