Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ipoh for an Islamic Financial Servicing Consultant. The consultant will advise clients on Shariah-compliant financial solutions, including takaful protection, savings, and investment-linked plans, in alignment with clients needs and objectives. Daily tasks include conducting client needs analysis, preparing customized financial proposals, and explaining product features, benefits, and risks in clear, accessible language. The role involves regular client meetings (face-to-face and by phone), handling policy servicing requests, and providing ongoing support to ensure client satisfaction and retention. The consultant will also participate in business development activities such as prospecting, networking, attending training sessions, and collaborating with the wider agency team to achieve individual and team targets while maintaining high ethical and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Finance and Financial Planning, with the ability to assess client needs and structure suitable Islamic financial and takaful solutions.
• Knowledge of Investments and Retirement Planning, especially within Shariah-compliant products and long-term wealth accumulation strategies.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret financial information, analyze client profiles, and propose appropriate recommendations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, explain complex concepts simply, and maintain long-term client relationships.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to ethical, Shariah-compliant financial practices.
• Diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Islamic Banking, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications in financial planning or takaful are an advantage.
