Key Responsibilities And Tasks
System Maintenance and Management:
Maintain and manage computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software.
Monitor network and system performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
Ensure data backup and recovery procedures are in place and functioning correctly.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
IT Support And Training
Provide technical support and assistance to users, addressing IT-related issues promptly.
Conduct user training on new software and technologies.
Security Management
Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data and systems.
Monitor for and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities.
Software And Hardware Management
Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and updates of software and hardware.
Manage software licenses and subscriptions.
Procure and manage IT equipment and supplies.
Project Management
May be involved in planning and implementing IT projects.
Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Other Administrative tasks
Onboarding and offboarding employees
Fulfill IT service requests
