About the role

We are seeking a talented IT & Business Analyst to join World Vision Malaysia Bhd in a full-time capacity, based in our Kelana Jaya, Selangor office. In this strategic role, you will serve as a vital bridge between our business operations and technology infrastructure, playing a crucial part in driving organisational efficiency and digital transformation. You will analyse complex business processes, identify opportunities for technological improvement, and recommend solutions that align with our mission to make a lasting difference in the communities we serve. This position is integral to ensuring our systems and processes support World Vision Malaysia's ability to deliver impactful humanitarian programmes effectively.

Key responsibilities

1. Systems Management & Support

• Manage, maintain, and support key business systems (CRM, HRIS, Finance tools, and donor management platforms).
• Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate resolution with vendors and internal teams.
• Support integration between internal systems and digital platforms (e.g., website donation portals, marketing tools).
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with IT and organizational policies.

2. Business Process Analysis

• Collaborate with department leads to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for system improvements.
• Map workflows and recommend digital or process enhancements for greater efficiency.
• Document business processes, user requirements, and change requests in a structured and clear manner.

3. Data Reporting & Analytics

• Support the creation of data dashboards and reports to inform decision-making.
• Extract and analyze data from multiple systems to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems through regular audits.

4. System Enhancement & Implementation

• Participate in the planning and testing of system upgrades, new feature rollouts, and process automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with external vendors and IT teams during software implementation projects.
• Train end-users and prepare user guides or SOPs to support smooth adoption of new systems.

5. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Work closely with Digital, Finance, and P&C teams to ensure systems are aligned to organizational objectives.
• Recommend innovative technology solutions that enhance productivity and reporting accuracy.
• Support the organization's digital transformation roadmap.

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analysis or a related discipline
2. Minimum 3-6 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or IT Systems Analyst
3. Strong knowledge of database management, CRM systems, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
4. Experience with process documentation, project coordination, and stakeholder communication.
5. Technical proficiency with APIs, data flows, and integrations is an advantage.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
9. Strong command of written and spoken English; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
